Our Mission and Content Description

Eco Gen Zine is committed to providing news, guides, arts, words, and opinions produced for Gen Z by other Gen Z climate creatives. Though our content covers the climate crisis through various topics, our main mission is to examine environmental issues and promote climate advocacy through a lens of intersectionality.

Intersectional environmentalism advocates not only for the planet, but also for the people who will be affected the first and worst by the climate crisis. It recognizes that injustices affecting both marginalized communities and the earth are entangled. It views the crisis through a combination of interconnected social structures, including: gender and sexuality, class and income, race and ethnicity, religion, and national origin.
